WHEN WILL I BE CHARGED FOR MY ORDER?

Once your order has been placed online or via the telephone, we will charge your card. Once payment has been taken, your goods will be dispatched.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake. When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

RETURNS POLICY

As the many items shown on this website are supplied directly from manufacturers stock, we regret that we will be unable to accept returns for products that are simply 'unwanted' or 'unsuitable'. We try to select and package the products as carefully as possible to ensure they arrive in good condition, however if a product arrives damaged, faulty or with defects we will replace it free of charge, or provide a full refund (as appropriate). In this case, you MUST contact us within 3 working days if a product arrives damaged.

As many products listed on our site are manufactured from natural products (timber, slate, granite, marble, etc.) you must be aware that natural variations and colour and finish must be expected, and are not regarded as faults. These items cannot be returned unless they are faulty.

MAKING RETURNS

Please return damaged goods to the registered address of Cracking Designs within 2 weeks of delivery.

Products we are unable to refund or exchange;

PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS

  • Some furniture is made from quality natural wood. Some woods will mellow with age due to exposure to sunlight.
  • We will endeavour to match the colour and texture of the fabric of your sofa to the samples chosen as accurately as possible, but variations in both the colour and texture may occur.
  • Some self-assembly may be required on certain products.
  • You should thoroughly inspect the furniture immediately on delivery. No refunds will be given, unless the goods are faulty. Goods must be returned in their original state and packaging. This does not affect your statutory rights.

MEASUREMENTS

  • It is your responsibility to ensure that the furniture ordered will pass freely through into your room of choice. If you are unsure, we can arrange to have the accessibility of your room of choice checked. There is a small charge for this service.
  • Please note that the delivery charge includes no allowance for the removal of doors, windows or other fixtures unless specifically stated. We can arrange for our specialist delivery consultants to visit your home and carry out this work. You should allow a reasonable amount of time for this work to be carried out and any work will be subject to an additional charge.
  • Cracking Designs can accept no responsibility for errors made by customers. If you are unsure, we can arrange to have the windows measured, there is a charge for this service.
  • Please advise on delivery conditions ie access to door and site conditions as this can affect delivery and price.

PAYMENTS

  • In the case of all goods, we will require payment in full at the time of purchase.
  • We will contact you as soon as possible to advise you of your estimated delivery date, this should be within 4 weeks and you will be advised if this is not possible.
  • If you pay by credit, charge or debit card the payment will be handled by PayPal or sagepay.
  • If you pay by credit card or use any other method of payment that involves interest or any other charges, if you require your money back due to non-satisfaction of our product. We are only obliged to refund money spent over our site.

DELIVERY

  • If you are unable, for whatever reason, to take delivery of your goods on the confirmed delivery date, we reserve the right to charge you further for any subsequent deliveries.
  • You are responsible for providing a safe and reasonable means of access from the public highway to the place of delivery.
  • If we accidentally damage goods in the course of delivery, then our liability for that damage is limited to the repair, refund or replacement of the goods or the value thereof.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING

shipping per order will be at a cost of £5.75 - this will not be refunded in the case of returns.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Most furniture, which is made or altered, is done so specifically for you. Once furniture is ordered from our collections, or you order made-to-measure products, your order may not be cancelled by you. Once delivered no furniture may be returned nor will we provide any refund unless it is defective or has been accidentally damaged in the course of delivery. Once made-to-measure products are ordered, your order may not be cancelled by you. Only faulty and damaged goods may be returned after you enter into a contract with Cracking Designs and have agreed to purchase as this may be bought in specifically for you.

INTERNET / WEB PURCHASES

  • Our website has been designed for your convenience and if you have any comments, questions or queries or if you have experienced any technical difficulties, please contact our customer service, contact details found on our website.
  • We endeavour to display as accurately as possible the colour of products as they appear on the website. However we cannot guarantee that your monitor will accurately reflect the colour of the product delivered.
  • We are entitled to refuse any order placed by you.
  • If an order placed by you cannot be honoured by us we will provide a full refund.
  • Access. It is your responsibility to ensure that the furniture ordered will pass freely through into the room of your choice. Our standard delivery charges include no allowance for removal of doors, windows or other fixtures.
